Residential Real Estate Transactions

Purchasing or selling real estate, whether it is your primary residence or a vacation home, is a one of the biggest financial decisions that most individuals and families make. What may begin as an emotional event, becomes an important legal and financial process requiring diligence, negotiation and a fair amount of patience.

Noreen Costelloe's primary role in real estate transactions, as with estate planning and all legal services she provides, is to look out for your interests above all others. Ms. Costelloe brings sharp financial, legal and negotiation skills to this process, as well as consideration of your financial and familial interests, needs and goals. You are at a strong advantage when an attorney knows you and your financial and personal situation over time.

Why do you need your own attorney when you are buying a home? Even if you have a "buyer's" real estate agent, their main job is to sell you a home. While their interest does overlap with yours, it is not the same. From contract review, to home inspection review and negotiation, Noreen Costelloe will respond to your questions promptly and do her best to keep the process moving smoothly.

Of course you need an attorney to sell your home, but it makes sense to use your own attorney, who is familiar with you and your situation and needs. Many of the tasks of the seller's attorney are prescribed, from the sales contract and home inspection (with any resulting negotiations), to the survey, title search, mortgage payoff and more. But with Noreen Costelloe as your attorney, you can rest assured that she is not only working to smoothly close the sale, but that she is doing so while fully considering your goals and interests.

Please click on the "Contact Me" box to the right if you are buying or selling a home and need a skilled Real Estate Attorney who will look out for your needs, interests, and goals.
